I will settle for nothing less than to see outpourings of God Spirit like the ones that took place in the book of acts and historically has been happening ever since the day of Pentecost.
What is it that causes God to pour out of his precious Spirit and what can we do to prepare for an outpouring. Let me share from the word and some of my experiences when it come to sovereign outpourings of Gods Spirit.
Deal seriously with sin.
Act 3:19 " Repent therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,"
First of all God is after our hearts, we can be saved, going to church and have a "Christian vocabulary" and still having our hearts attached to the things of this world. That means that our hearts is turned away and are in need of repentance unto God.
As we examine our self’s and repent
(Turn away from sin, unto God) We will find ourselves in the presence of the Lord.
Proverbs 1:23 "Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out of my Spirit on you; I will make my words known to you."
Thirsty for an outpouring.
God is looking for those that are thirsty for Him and honestly desiring his touch.
John 7:37 "If anyone is thirsts, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me as, the scripture said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water"
Isaiah 44:3 "For I will pour water on him that is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants…"
Are you thirsty, God is looking for the thirsty. Its only the thirsty that will desire a drink. I believe that as we separate ourselves from this world and turn to God in Spirit and truth
(That’s with our hearts). The thirst after God will grow until you and I experiencing what we thirst for, His precious Spirit.
Ministering to individuals.
Many times while I have spent time or been praying for people that have a thirst for God I have felt that rivers of living water has been flowing out of me and into them refreshing them and quickening them by the Spirit of God. Notice it has only happened while ministering to thirsty people. There is something about thirst that draws from God. Sometimes I can feel that people have a hungry and open heart and they don’t need to say a word about it since I can feel the moving of that Living waters on the inside, Bless God.
Experiencing times of refreshing.
I want you to notice that it says:
Times of refreshing in act 3:19. That means that we can have that experience again and again and again.
Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward,. That I will pour out of My Spirit on all Flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young me shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out of My Spirit in those days"
The Prophet of Old said that God will pour out of His Spirit in those days.
Which days? You might ask. These days! Starting at the day of Pentecost until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, God is pouring out of His Spirit on all flesh. The purpose of The day of Pentecost was that they would go with that tangible touch of Gods hand to all the corners of the earth. We are living in
those days right now, What God did, He is still doing.
Outpouring in the house.
As Cornelius got thirsty he got a revelation of an angel that told him to bring the Apostle Peter to his house.
As Peter came to the house of Cornelius and started talking about Jesus the same outpouring that took place at Jerusalem among the 120 people disciples, happened right there in the house of Cornelius. They started to speak in tongues and magnifying God. I like this story since It was all God. No one told Cornelius and the others that they should speak in tongues But when Gods Spirit came on them the couldn’t help but speaking in tongues and magnifying God. We don’t need to help people speak in tongues! What we need is a real
OUTPOURING OF GODS SPIRIT!!!
Act 10:44-46
Outpouring at my house!
An extraordinary outpouring that I’ve experienced were in my house at North park in San Antonio, Texas. After returning from Sweden I woke up a Friday morning and as I started to pray heaven open and God Just poured of His tangible anointing, power and Love. Before that time I thought I knew what the presence of God were like. But this was nothing like I ever experienced though I had felt the power of God before. This was a real outpour of Gods Spirit.
That whole day I couldn’t do anything but worshiping him and laughing and crying and magnifying God. That night I was having a youth meeting at my house. At this time we had a lot of visitors who weren’t familiar with God or church life at all. And as we meet and I shared on an outpouring that had just happened at a Christian School in Sweden.
The same tangible Spirit of God moved in such a marvelous way in our midst.
The teenagers started to cry and one boy who had broken arm said that the pain went away and that he wanted to get saved.
At the same time two of the teenagers that weren’t saved got caught up in the same vision: They both found themselves in a white room and there they meet the Father who spoke intimately with each of them. The Girl told me that the Father had told her how much he loved her and asked her to quit "playing game" with the guys at school. Wow, what a merciful God we have!
This outpouring continued for 3 days and it change my life forever.
Ever since then I have seen and experienced other outpourings of Gods tangible Spirit.

The promise is there for you and me to go to the world with a tangible touch and to minister under an outpouring of the Spirit just like the Apostle Peter.
