The power of love. (1 Cor 13:13) There are many powers in our world but the greatest of them all is love. The love of God is a mighty working power. No one that comes in its path are able to resist its power. Hardened hearts gets soft, the haughty gets meek and the lost gets found. Nothing of what we do is worth anything if it's not impregnated by love. I think its important to look at what we do and ask why we do it, is it out of love or are we just trying to promote our selves? Love is never focused on "self". (1 Cor 13:5) Love is always aimed at somebody else.

To love our neighbors as we love our selves is more than all the offering we can do.
(Mark 12:33)
Its easy to love our Father since He is so good, merciful, tenderhearted, loving, gracious and faithful. But when it comes to the neighbor who doesn’t even like us and never says hi, we sometimes have a hard time loving him. Can we love someone who is not lovable? Its hard if we never been loved unconditionally our selves. But if we have been touched by our Father’s unconditional love, we are able to love others unconditionally. We can only give what we have received. Hey I’m not talking about: I have to love so and so because the word of God says so. No, I’m talking about a love that flows out of your spirit, it is not your love, it is the Father’s love in you.

As He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17)

As Jesus is so are we in this world. How many of you would agree with me that Jesus was a love letter written by the Father to a lost, diseased and dying world. Our Father's desire is to form us into image of His Son. He would like to send us as love letters to a world that are hungry and thirsty for unconditional love.

For who He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the first born among many brethren. (Rom 8:29)

The love of the world VS. The love of the Father.
If we foul around with the world (The lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life) There is no way the divine love of the Father can abide in us. But if we turn our hearts to the Father we will have his tangible love abiding on the inside of us.

Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. -1 John 2:15-

Manifesting the love of God.
People we meet don’t need another sermon, convincing conversation or a great intellectual explanation that God loves them. No they need to see a God filled person manifesting the love of God.

By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love toward one another. -John 13:35-

We are made to be love letters. Love is a sign to the unbeliever that there is a God. Let me give you an example. I was knocking doors here in San Antonio asking questions about peoples faith and religious traditions. (it’s a good way to start a conversation with someone) One day I came to a very rude man who made fun of me and ask me ironically: If you’re a Christian, you can do my lawn. I didn’t get mad but answered back in a polite manner. After some more attempt to make fun of me, the tangible love of God flowed out of me and touch this man who had barked at me for the last couple of minutes. Suddenly he started to cry and repent of his sins and said that God must had sent me there like an angel with a message. Before this point I had not even mentioned anything about Jesus or that God loved him. But still he felt it! Gods presence is filled with love, you see God is love 1 John 4:16. And You are the temple of the Holy Ghost. Halleluja isn’t that great!

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another. God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us. -1 John 4:12-
